What data the site uses
The site does not collect personally identifying user data. Data is used only to provide the service: calculate the BBQ Index, store the selected city in the browser and produce aggregated, anonymous statistics about searched cities.
Selected city
When you choose a city, the site stores a technical cookie named bbq_city. It is used only to automatically show your preferred city when you return to the home page.
Anonymous statistics
Searched cities may be counted anonymously to build the best cities found so far page. The count is not linked to people, accounts or devices.
Geolocation
Geolocation, when available, is requested by the browser and used only to calculate the index for the selected position. The site does not create a user profile.
